Product Owner Certification with Scrum Alliance®

Upon full and active participation in the training, you will receive your CSPO® Certified Scrum Product Owner® certificate directly after the course. Your trainer will submit your name and email address to Scrum Alliance®, typically the day after the training ends. You can then download your certificate as early as the next day.

Scrum Alliance® once considered introducing an online test like the one used for CSM® Scrum Master Certification. However, because the Product Owner role involves many topics beyond the Scrum framework itself, they chose to maintain the responsibility of the trainer to ensure that all learning objectives are met. This is why thorough preparation and active participation in the training are key—and no separate exam is required.

Unlike certifications from some other providers that are based solely on passing a simple test, Scrum Alliance® sets a higher standard. Since its founding in 2001, it has required a minimum of two full days of training.

While standard tests usually measure surface-level knowledge, Scrum Alliance®’s approach encourages reflection and deeper understanding. This is one reason why the CSPO® certification enjoys global recognition.

Certification fees are included in the training registration.
